Participation in Online Training and successful completion of the Final Exam does not provide Certification or Approval for a person to administer medications. Many employers require a passing grade of 90% on the written exam. Following successful completion of the online program, it is recommended for the UCP to receive comprehensive, onsite training which includes observation of medication passes performed by registered staff/authorized personnel and medication pass audits, as per facility policy. Unregulated Care Providers should be supervised and evaluated on a regular basis so that Registered staff can ensure their continued competency in administering routine medications.
